Form mail (mForm.pl) quick start. | | Note: We changed the name from 'formMail' to 'mForm' to reduce hits from spam bots looking for old and insecure versions. While this version is secured from use by spammers, do not rename it back to formmail.pl.- Open your cgi-bin directory. Find and download mForm.pl.
- Read the documentation (mForm.pl.txt). You should now be done... if not:
- Change @referers to put your domain name where it has 'www.yourdomain.com'.
- Change @allow_mail_to to the email address you wish the form to send to.
- Upload mForm.pl to your cgi-bin directory and make sure it is executable (chmod +x).
- Create a html form on your site according to the examples in mForm.pl.ex or mForm.html.
If it doesn't work, go back to step two and actually READ the inluded documentation :)
